Job Description
Riverlane is a leader in Quantum Error Correction (QEC) technology and is seeking a PhD student for a full-time research internship in 2026. The internship will involve research, development, and contribution to projects focused on enhancing Riverlane's capabilities in the field. Interns will be part of a team of experts and receive a stipend and benefits.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD degree in a highly numerate subject
- Evidence of creative, high-quality academic work
- Experience with at least one general purpose programming language
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work well as part of a team
- Passion for translating academic expertise into an applied industrial setting
- Signed agreement for IP ownership to Riverlane
