Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at RiverStone Health. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and performing point of care testing. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, medical assistant certification, or 1 year of patient care experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant certification or 1 year of patient care experience
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing patient care and services
• Knowledge of the information and techniques used to diagnose and treat human illness and injuries
• Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems
• Ability to handle difficult or distressed patients with calmness and respect
• Ability to display non-judgmental and empathetic listening skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy of patients at all times
