Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Fluid Components team. This role focuses on designing and verifying fluid components to meet stringent requirements for the Neutron launch program. The position involves influencing design early, overseeing production initiatives, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various departments to drive quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace or similar engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting valves, actuators, regulators or similar fluid components
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes common to fluid components
- Experience with orbital tube welding and tube bending highly preferred
- Must be physically able to commute to buildings
