Founding Principal- TN

Rocketship Public Schools is hiring a Founding Principal to lead the launch of a new school in LaVergne and Smyrna, TN. The Principal will spend a year preparing for the launch, engaging in start-up activities, and building a team to establish a joyful and rigorous culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of successful teaching experience in an urban elementary setting
• Experience in school founding or startup environments preferred
• 2+ years in a leadership role (Assistant Principal, Principal, or equivalent)
• Valid Tennessee teaching credential (or ability to transfer)
• Administrative credential or enrollment in a credentialing program preferred
