Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Game Designer to join our team at Rocketwerkz, a PC video games studio based in Auckland, New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and adding new content to our open-world survival game, ICARUS, using Unreal Engine 4.27. The role involves understanding game balance, quest logic, and lore, and creating an enjoyable player experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years game design or relevant game development experience
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4, including Blueprint scripting
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar project management tools)
- A fantastic portfolio of games you've contributed to
- Understanding of open-world or survival games
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
