Job Description
Rockford is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of commercial and residential properties. This role involves maintaining buildings, common areas, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance
- Residential and commercial property management experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Experience in general inspections of properties/buildings
- Knowledge of common facility maintenance concepts
- Exceptional communication skills
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) 365
- Web-based work order and/or Yardi experience.
- Certifications such as HVAC, Building Maintenance Technology, First Aid and CPR.
