Data Science & Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a Team Lead based in our Malaysia location to join the Data Science & Engineering team in ROCKWOOL. The role reports directly to the manager of the Data Science & Engineering team based in Denmark and is an integral part of a larger global Data Science & Engineering team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 people with various roles such as data scientists, data engineers and ML Engineers.

Requirements

• Lead and manage an operations team of 5 data scientists, data engineers & ML engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
• Ensure all AI products developed by the team are operating smoothly and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of AI products, addressing and resolving issues within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Be a key part of setting up and recruiting the roles required to create the local team in Malaysia.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage and prioritize the team's workload, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
