The Military Medicine Program Associate Director will oversee the development, implementation, delivery, and assessment of military medicine-related curriculum at Rocky Vista University. The position involves mentoring and advocating for student participants in the Health Professions Scholarship Program, providing administrative support to the Military Medicine program director, and initiating original research.
Requirements
- Provide oversight, direction and guidance for faculty members involved in teaching military medicine
- Assist the Director military medicine in leading and mentoring military medicine faculty and staff
- Assist the Director military medicine in preparing financial and budgetary plans and oversee expenditures related to military medicine instruction
- Foster collaborative relationships with current and former military officers who might serve as educators, mentors, and provide pathways to residency for military students
- Participate in RVU military medicine curriculum development, delivery, assessment, and enhancement
- Engage in scholarly activity, including original research, authorship, presentations at conferences, and mentorship of students in their scholarly activities
