Job Description
Rodeo FX is seeking an FX artist to design and create complex visual simulations for projects like Stranger Things and The Witcher. This role involves mastering procedural tools like Houdini and collaborating closely with other departments, contributing to photorealistic, dynamic, and technically solid shots. The company values creativity, precision, and a collaborative spirit.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FX in a VFX studio
- Expertise in Houdini (Pyro, Flip, RBD, Vellum, SOPs)
- Basic knowledge of compositing (Nuke) and rendering (Arnold and Karma)
- Knowledge of USD and Solaris
- Good sense of movement, physics and visual rhythm
