Job Description
Rodeo FX is seeking an FX Supervisor to lead their team and ensure the consistency of visual effects on a given project. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic and technical background, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in visual effects and experience in team supervision or project management. They must be based in Montreal and have Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or an open work permit.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in visual effects in a VFX environment
- Confirmed experience in team supervision or project management
- Advanced proficiency in Houdini (Pyro, Flip, RBD, Vellum, SOPs)
- Functional knowledge of Nuke, Arnold, Karma, and Python scripting
- Good command of USD and Solaris
- Good command of Flow Production Tracking and a keen understanding of the VFX pipeline
- Strong artistic and technical skills, ability to arbitrate quickly
- Positive leadership, strategic mind, composure, and clarity in communication
