Job Description
Röhm is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead and maintain environmental compliance across its Wallingford, CT facility. The role involves identifying, developing, implementing, and managing site environmental policies and procedures, coordinating regulatory compliance, and improving processes for safety, environmental, and employee wellbeing. This position acts as the plant liaison to local, state and federal agencies and reports on environmental matters.
Requirements
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements via reports.
- Identify regulatory requirements and develop courses of action.
- Project management on facility modifications.
- Represent the plant in environmental meetings.
- Manage hazardous waste material.
- Monitor and report plant emissions and discharges.
