Job Description
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for completing the installation, service, and maintenance of various commercial HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance for a variety of commercial equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing high-level customer service.
- Actively participating in the NCCER Curriculum.
- Demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
- Knowing relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
