Job Description
This Oilfield Electrician position involves maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems in the Upstream environment. The role requires knowledge of tank battery facilities, troubleshooting electrical components, and performing electrical installations/repairs. 5/2 rotation schedule with weekend calls required.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting motor starters and VFDs/VSDs
- Electrical equipment installation, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting, and alternative electrical parts installation/repairs
- Electrical equipment testing and commissioning
- Working knowledge of PLC switches
- Testing and commissioning of integrated and non-integrated electrical systems
- Experience with motor starters and VFDs/VSDs
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures
