Job Description
Roku is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its observability team. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance systems to process massive amounts of data and design innovative solutions for engineers to monitor, debug, and optimize applications. The team focuses on extending and integrating open-source observability tools to enhance capabilities at scale.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering building distributed systems or observability platforms.
- Hands-on Go experience; our observability ecosystem is Go-based.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, ELK/OpenSearch, Clickhouse
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and data models.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
