Job Description
Roku is seeking a Software Engineer, Test to develop and maintain automated test suites and performance monitoring tools for its streaming platforms. This role involves building automation frameworks to test high-profile applications, integrating multi-platform tests, and maintaining device farms to run automated tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing and experience working with diverse test and firmware development teams.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain an automation framework focused on testing high-profile streaming applications.
- Actively collaborate with team of firmware and automation engineers.
- Integrate multi-platform and multi-technology heterogeneous test suites.
- Build and maintain a device farm to run and maintain automated tests.
- Identify automation opportunities proactively and act independently.
- Review feature specifications, write test plans, and develop automated tests.
- Schedule automated tests, monitor and triage test results.
- Excellent Python programming skills.
