Einkäufer (m/w/d)

The Purchaser (m/f/d) role involves responsibility for product groups including engines and transmissions, plastics, hydraulics, electrical and electronics. Key duties include conducting procurement processes, price negotiations, supplier management, and developing product group strategies. The role also entails independently managing purchasing projects within interdisciplinary teams and participating in Value/Cost project teams.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration / industrial engineering
• Completed training at a technical college, such as a certified technical business administrator
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement with a strong technical understanding
• Experience and knowledge in dealing with production processes, key figures, bills of materials, work plans, manufacturing cost calculations and technical drawings and / or specifications
• Sovereign, professional demeanor paired with a hands-on mentality and a high degree of negotiation / communication skills as well as assertiveness
• Result-oriented and structured, independent work style
• Confident MS-Office knowledge
• Good English skills in words and writing
• Willingness to travel occasionally (max. 10%)
