Job Description
Rover is seeking a Product Engineer to own the product experience, focusing on improving the lives of pet owners and their pets through a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role involves translating requirements into technical plans, designing and building scalable solutions, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in both frontend and backend development.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a professional software developer
- Solid knowledge of relational databases and schema design
- Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP)
- Strong and proven knowledge of ReactJS or React Native for frontend development
- Experience with Python or another backend language
