We're looking for a Senior Accessibility Consultant to join our Design Team. As a Senior Accessibility Consultant, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on accessibility standards, delivering training and providing guidance to colleagues, and ensuring that Royal London Group's digital products comply with our accessibility standards.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in accessibility consulting or working within an Accessibility Centre of Excellence.
- Ability to develop and deliver accessibility training to various teams.
- Experience in creating and maintaining documentation on accessibility standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify common accessibility issues, advising individuals and teams on solutions and best practices.
- Proven track record of conducting accessibility audits and creating and analysing accessibility reports, providing actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and how they apply to accessibility.
- Significant experience of WCAG, front-end technologies, assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to accessibility (for UK and Ireland)
