We are seeking a Senior Data Modeller to join our Group Data & AI Office (GDAO) Team at Royal London. The role involves designing, analyzing, and delivering high-quality, well-governed enterprise data assets on Cloud to drive digital use cases and effective decision-making.
Requirements
- Excellent data modelling and enterprise-wide data architecture understanding and skills
- Strong and demonstrable specialist knowledge of domain based data modelling
- Proven track record of working on Data Modelling engagements for complex, multi-vendor programmes
- Strong experience of Data Warehousing concepts, such as Kimball, Inmon, data vault, star schemas, fact/dimensions, OLAP, lakehouse architecture
- Data Modelling tools (ER/Studio, Erwin, Sparx EA)
- Knowledge of Cloud Data & Analytics services on Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- ETL concepts: data cleansing, change data capture (CDC), integration, mapping, extraction, transformation and loading
- Experience of close working with third party authorities and MSA suppliers & partners
- Excellent and proven communication of technical information
- Full and extensive experience of agile practice an implementation both in delivery and data design arenas
- Good understanding of regulations/legislation within the financial services market
