The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is seeking a Hospitality Services Assistant to join their dynamic Event Services team. This role involves supporting and executing ROM’s internal and external events, including event set-up, tear-down, vendor coordination, and client assistance. ROM is committed to building and sharing global collections, sparking learning, and fostering community engagement. They are a highly-valued, internationally recognized museum.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in event operations, hospitality, catering, or as a porter/venue crew member.
• Experience in event set-up/tear-down, working with event rental equipment, and supporting large-scale functions.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Ontario liquor and health regulations (asset).
