Principal Logistics Specialist

As a Principal Logistics Specialist, you will oversee the processing of maintenance and supply data associated with the operation of fielded radar facilities utilizing the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS). You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan, shipping and receiving inventory, and maintaining calibration on test equipment. This is an onsite position in White Sands, NM.

Requirements

• Involvement with day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan
• Shipping, receiving inventory
• Control of spares and tools
• Maintaining calibration on test equipment
• Handling hazardous material
• Local procurement of consumables
• Stocking assets with attention to package and handling instructions
• Issuing parts to job orders through the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) and preparing them for delivery.
• Packing and shipping material through commercial carriers and utilizing the DD1149 produced by ALCS
• Oversight of processing of maintenance functions and configuration management utilizing ALCS associated with the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS)
• Maintaining receipts of local purchase and filing expense reports in a timely manner
