Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Operation Quality Engineer with hands-on hardware quality experience to become a key part of Operations Quality. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or other technical field of study, and a minimum of two (2) years of Quality Engineering or related industry experience.
Requirements
- Baseline factory metrics (scrap, rework, FPY, etc.)
- Identify top drivers, forecast future demand for top drivers, and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
- Engage and support shop floor personnel and manufacturing defect prevention teams
- Perform process walks, operator observations, and lead manufacturing team discussions
- Lead/Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives
- Integrate product and process verifications
- Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
