Job Description
The Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA) will assist nurses and provide patient care, perform clinical tasks, and manage patient flow. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, preparing exam rooms, and coordinating lab results. The role requires maintaining a high patient focus and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Medical Assisting Certification or Registration required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds/ walk and/or stand for up to ten-hour shifts
- Computer skills.
