The Rental Account Manager will have responsibility for both inside and outside sales, growing with a career path toward Customer Development Manager and/or Business Development Manager roles in our Lease division.
Requirements
- Develop brand new business opportunities
- Build & grow relationships with our existing clientele
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to identify and nurture new sales opportunities and increase rental revenues
- Interaction with existing or prospective customer to identify and customize solutions and present proposals to resolve transportation problems/meet transportation needs
- Provision of ongoing support to existing accounts and to dealer network to ensure customers retention, generate additional or replacement
- Attainment of sales goals at or above quota
- Create an environment in which people want to do their best
- Act as a leader in the development and guidance of employees to meet revenue and margin goals
- Above average interpersonal skills with strong emphasis on customer relations, communications and presentation skills
- Proven ability to effectively organize responsibilities and manage time
- Keen problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to achieve objectives
- Understands the importance of responsibility, accountability and commitment
- Ability to teach employees to be resourceful, effectively manage and quickly accomplish goals
- Willingness to help out at the rental counter for peak periods and/or vacation coverage
