Job Description
As a Supplier Quality Engineer I at S&C Electric Company, you will support the evaluation of the quality of supplied components and materials, assist in supplier audits, and collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues. You will also provide quality support for operations, analyze supplier performance, and participate in supplier process validation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
- 0-2 years of experience in quality engineering focusing on supplier quality within the electrical or related industry.
- Basic knowledge of supplier quality systems, including APQP, PPAP and Six Sigma tools.
- Some experience with statistical analysis tools used for quality analysis.
- Adequate understanding of supplier qualification processes and risk mitigation strategies.
