The Analyst, Financial Analysis role at S&P Global Market Intelligence Divisional Finance team supports the monthly accounting close and financial reporting process, provides data analysis and operational insights, and assists with process automation and digitization. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5+ years of work experience in public accounting or private accounting or finance department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years’ work experience in public accounting or private accounting or finance department
- Knowledge of US GAAP or other similar accounting principles
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience with ERP (Oracle Financials), Anaplan, Ariba, Workday, BI Tools and Alteryx or other database tools
