Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support and expand our cloud infrastructure, monitoring and alerting frameworks, onboarding/migration projects, and interact with the wider DevOps, QA, and development teams. The ideal candidate will have proven DevOps experience, development and operational skills, and be able to deliver secure and structured automated solutions to operational tasks.

Requirements

• Collaborate with software development teams to improve application reliability, performance, security, and scalability
• Provide BAU Production support, and resolve issues either spotted by monitoring or reported by users before causing business impact
• Develop scripts in Terraform, Python, and Unix shell scripting to automate tasks and streamline processes
• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform on AWS cloud platform utilizing best practices
• Comfortable with writing database queries and performing database management with an added advantage of experience in Document-Oriented Data Bases, AWS storage solutions
• Set up and configure monitoring solutions, including Grafana, PagerDuty, Splunk to ensure system health and respond to incidents promptly
