Software Development Engineer in Test II role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases across UI, API, and data layers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software testing or development with solid understanding of STLC, coding, and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of Agile processes and Scrum practices.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL or any database language for test data setup and validation.
- Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and defect management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar.
- Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) across application layers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
