Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer - Data Management to design, create and maintain our backend applications that power our strategic metadata platform. The role includes work on architecture design, business logic, requirements gathering, data modelling, systems integration, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Recognized academic background in Computer Science
- 6+ years of relevant experience with solid expertise in Java 17 or higher
- Experience and solid understanding building multi-threaded and concurrent systems within distributed architectures
- Familiarity with cloud-native/ SaaS metadata catalogs
- Experience with Backend/API integration is a plus
- Experience with Terraform is required
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience with RDF concepts and SPARQL is a plus
