Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is a new facility located near downtown Sacramento. As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
House Supervisor (Day Shift) responsible for overseeing admissions and discharges, unit operations, fiscal and staff management, and patient care services. Requires current license as a Registered Nurse in California, CPR certification, and knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and associated risks.
Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, or obtained within initial orientation period.
- Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO.
- Knowledge and experience of psychiatric diagnosis and associated risks, medications, biological systems, nursing process, treatment planning, and leadership.
