As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is seeking a Per Diem/On-Call Clinician to provide therapeutic services to patients and families. This role requires managing treatment activities, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on serving Northern, Central, and Southern California communities. The position involves providing services in a clinical setting, including facilitating therapeutic groups and providing care for individuals with severe mental health issues.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling psychology, mental health or a related field.
- Must attend 1 hour of weekly supervision or 2 hours of group supervision.
- Complete Handle With Care within 30 days of employment.
