Job Description
Safety National is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a high-performing team of engineers building modern, cloud-native applications using.NET Core, Azure services, and NoSQL technologies. The role involves guiding full-stack development teams, modernizing legacy platforms, and aligning business priorities with technical strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 or more years of software development experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Cosmos DB
- Solid background in NoSQL and relational database technologies
- Deep understanding of 12-factor app principles and scalable design patterns
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and building distributed systems
- Proficiency in modern CI/CD practices and tools
- Strong skills in observability (metrics, logging, tracing)
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
