Stage - Deep Learning Scientist (H/F)

Safran.AI is a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense that provides artificial intelligence solutions for high-resolution satellite image analysis, full-motion video (FMV) and acoustic signal analysis. The company is looking for a Deep Learning Scientist intern to join the AI Product team and contribute to the development and improvement of object detection algorithms on images for the site surveillance product.

Requirements

• Following a degree in data science / deep learning / computer vision
• Practical experience in computer vision / deep learning
• Familiarity with certain deep learning techniques, especially CNNs for segmentation and object detection
• Good Python skills
• Experience in building and training DL models in a framework such as Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Comfortable in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Rigorous, creative, and meticulous spirit
• Willingness to take on challenges, demonstrate resilience, and always learn new skills
