We are looking for experienced machine operators to work within our cell assembly areas. Our technicians in this area have a hand in creating of battery cells, which will power products for the space, defense and racing industries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional schooling or training in a technical field is preferred
- 3 - 10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably running machinery
- Basic computer skills with some proficiency with Excel and database usage
- Ability to comprehend written instructions and to clearly document and record the results of the work that you perform
- Proven experience running complex machinery and producing products of high quality
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain an organized workstation to optimize product flow to feed downstream stations
- Ability to install materials and setup machine(s) utilizing precise settings such as speed, tension, power and various other criteria
- Possess a keen eye for detail and be able to notice small variances in processes and materials that may affect final product quality
- Communicate clearly and accurately to describe in detail any machine or product issues that may have occurred and possess the ability to communicate this information to all levels of personnel
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work either independently or as part of a team
- Problem solving skills that permit diagnosing and correcting of issues that may occur during machine operation
- Ability and willingness to rapidly learn and understand the tasks assigned
- Must be available to work overtime as schedules occasional require
