Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Facilities Technician I to join our growing team. As a key member of our facility management workforce, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all industrial machinery and facility infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in an industrial facility, mechanical, or maintenance setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.
- Experience driving forklifts and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
