Material Handler - 3rd Shift

The Material Handler will process the receipt of materials into the plant in a timely and accurate manner. Receive all raw materials into SAFT's material planning database in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Receive all raw materials into SAFT's material planning database in a timely manner.
• Unload raw materials which are delivered via freight carrier.
• In conjunction with the material handler, unload materials which are delivered to the outside and off-site warehouse.
• Physically transfer stock from the receiving dock to SO2 metals rip locations.
• Key all transactions both into and out of appropriate stock and rip locations.
• Receiving and organizing items which are returned from customers and transferring those items to the MRB holding area.
• Notify planners of damaged material shipments and shipment shortages.
• Provide back up for Material Handler, Shipping Coordinator and MRO Clerk, as needed.
