The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to investigate the epidemiology of suicide/self-harm and related mental health issues. They will contribute to ongoing research projects and pursue their own research agenda.
Requirements
- Conducting research on the epidemiology of suicide/self-harm and related mental health issues.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of suicide prevention and intervention strategies.
- Collaborating with faculty and staff on research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Writing reports and academic papers for publication in relevant journals.
- Participating in grant writing and seeking funding opportunities.
- Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration within the department and with external partners.
- Assisting in the mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students involved in research projects.
- Adhering to ethical guidelines and regulations governing research involving human subjects.
