Assistant Professor of Theatre (Tenure Track)

Saint Mary’s College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre to join their Department of Communication Studies, Dance, and Theatre. The Department offers a liberal arts institution with a rich appreciation for the performing arts and is home to programs in Dance, Theatre, and Communication Studies. The program values collaboration, a welcoming environment, and student leadership.

Requirements

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or MFA) in Theatre Literature and Criticism, Theatre History, Acting, Directing, or related areas.
• Experience in directing both intimate and large-scale productions, including musicals.
• Ability to teach Introduction to Acting and Introduction to Directing.
• Eligibility to work in the United States legally.
