SALFO & Associates SA is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance Department, supporting the company's accounting operations and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment of financial and tax obligations.
Requirements
- Maintain Category C (double-entry) accounting books.
- Record, review, and archive accounting transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, cash and bank transactions).
- Perform myDATA reconciliations and compliance checks.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including banks, customers, and suppliers.
- Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, VIES).
- Support the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports.
- Liaise with external partners (accountants, auditors, tax consultants).
- Monitor and apply updates in tax and labor legislation.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal accounting procedures and controls.
