Job Description
Provides transportation services for customers and goods to and from destinations with sedans, vans, and trucks. Assures the use of seat belts and escorts customers with special mobility needs on and off ADA-compliant vehicles.
Requirements
- Must pass required driver's training within two weeks of hire
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior work-related driving experience
- Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License in order to drive a County vehicle
- Must pass initial and annual driver's license review and complete driver safety training
- Must pass a required pre-employment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
- Must receive a verified negative test result on a mandatory drug test before starting this position
- Will be subject to random alcohol and drug testing
- May be subject to post-accident and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing
