Job Description
Shift Supervisors are responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and operational effectiveness of a transition housing shelter. They supervise activities, manage schedules, oversee facility safety, coordinate transportation, and ensure staff follow health and safety rules. Successful candidates will be eligible for an FDNY-80 certification within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Supervise shelter environment and ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Manage daily schedules and client appointments.
- Administer breathalyzer tests or urine collections (as required by program policy).
- Ensure accurate paperwork and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Flexible availability for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
