Job Description
Samaritan Daytop Village is seeking a Social Worker to provide clinical services to clients in Queens, NY. The role involves counseling, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and referral to appropriate services. This position offers a national Health and Human Services Agency with over 60 programs across New York City.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- One to three (1-3) years of demonstrated clinical experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment or shelter
- NYS LMSW/LCSW licensure preferred
- In-depth knowledge of NYC's diverse network of medical and behavioral health care organizations
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
