Senior Software Engineer I - New Product

Samsara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their Platform team. This role focuses on building and managing the infrastructure and customer-facing features for their Connected Operations platform, which is the backbone of their IoT-enabled solutions. The engineer will own critical features, mentor other engineers, and iterate based on customer feedback, working with engineers from Engineering, Product, ML, and Design. The ideal candidate will be a lifelong learner passionate about delivering scalable and customer-centric solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping customer-focused products
• Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, Golang, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Experience designing and maintaining complex systems
• Excellent estimation, communication, and project management skills
