Software Engineer II

Samsara is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their Infrastructure Platform Security team. This role focuses on securing, ensuring compliance, and evolving Samsara’s public cloud infrastructure. The engineer will contribute to the evolution of Samara's cloud infrastructure and ensure it remains secure, reliable, and scalable. Requirements

• Design and maintain highly available, resilient and secure infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain standardized, secure, and reliable base components.
• Drive system stability and service quality by embedding reliability best practices.
• Ensure service availability by participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and build observability tooling.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and metrics pipelines.
• Own and lead the technical delivery of engineering projects.
