Software Engineer II, New Product

Samsara is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer II to join their Platform team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining platform-level applications that connect users with various services, including video, vehicle, and driver workflows. The engineer will own the systems responsible for leading the platform, solving real-world problems, and contributing to the company’s ambitious expansion of connected operations solutions. They will work on a remote position in Canada.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building customer-facing applications
• Strong programming/coding fundamentals in a language such as Java, Python, Golang, or TypeScript
• Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems
• An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones
• An ideal candidate also has: Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
