Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator to assist in the manufacturing of connectors and cable assemblies. The role involves operating machines and equipment to produce components and quality control testing. Requirements
- Understand and operate production machinery
- Efficiently read and use tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Understand how to read assembly drawings
- Monitor quality of raw materials and finished goods
- Set up and make minor adjustments to equipment
- Perform processes associated with assembly of connectors, attaching connectors to the cable and cable manufacturing
- Test cable and assemblies using network analyzers and TDR's
