The Director of Financial Management reports to the Chief Financial Officer and operates within the Business Affairs Division. They independently manage complex financial operations, lead strategic and financial planning, and serve as the primary financial manager for three colleges.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a Finance or Accounting emphasis, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in budgeting, financial management, or accounting, including 5 years in a leadership role
- Proficient in complex finance functions, strategic and detailed financial analysis, and synthesizing data into actionable insights
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead diverse teams
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a strong background in financial systems, reporting tools, and data applications
