Machine Builder

Assemble manufactured and purchased components to meet specifications, plan and coordinate work, and troubleshoot mechanical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults. Participate in project status updates and mentor technicians.

Requirements

• Certificate as a Machine Builder, Machinist, Maintenance Technician, or 10 years of equivalent work experience
• 5 years' experience in building custom automated machines
• 5 years' experience reading and interpreting drawings and solid models
• 2 years' experience in a lead role
• Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools (Knee Mill, Surface Grinder, Lathe)
• 3 years' experience using computers and computer software
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
