Job Description
The San Francisco Symphony is seeking a Major Gift Officer to manage a portfolio of 120-130 Major Gift and Planned Giving prospects, with a goal of securing $1.5M - $3M annually. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the performing arts, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in fundraising
- Proven experience in major individual gift fundraising
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to professionally and diplomatically communicate and interact with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
