Lead SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

SAP Fioneer is seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to drive the backend architecture and delivery of their cloud-based SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in ABAP object-oriented development, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP technologies.

Requirements

• Design, own and govern the architecture of scalable, secure backend components for innovative lending solutions built on ABAP and related SAP technologies.
• Define technical direction, coding standards, and best practices; drive adoption of clean-core, upgrade-safe extension patterns across teams.
• Lead implementation efforts, review designs and code, and ensure delivery of high-quality standard software in an agile environment while collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers and partners.
• Mentor and grow ABAP engineers: conduct code reviews, provide technical coaching, run knowledge-sharing sessions and support career development.
• Create, maintain and approve comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks and architectural artefacts.
